Sewage Clamp-On Flow Meter
Today, a customer requested two clamp-on flow meters and provided the following information:
1.1 Measuring medium: Water, seawater, sewage, and other uniform, single, stable liquids.
1.2 Medium temperature range: -30°C to 150°C (some models can reach -40°C to 160°C).
1.3 Measurement accuracy: ±1.0%
1.4 Applicable pipe diameter: DN15mm to DN6000mm.
1.5 Flow rate range: 0 to ±32m/s (bidirectional flow).
1.6 Output methods: 4-20mA, RS232/RS485 communication, pulse signal, relay output, etc. Input signal: Supports multiple 4-20mA signal inputs (such as temperature, pressure, liquid level, etc.).
1.7 Power supply: AC220V.
1.8 Protection rating: IP68 (submersible to a depth of ≤3 meters).
1.9 Installation Requirements: Straight pipe length: Upstream ≥ 10D, downstream ≥ 5D, ≥ 30D from the pump outlet (D is the pipe diameter).
1.10 Installation Method: Clamp-on installation, no pipe damage required, suitable for pipes made of steel, stainless steel, cast iron, PVC, copper, aluminum, fiberglass, and other materials.
After analysis, our technicians recommended our wall-mounted ultrasonic flowmeter.
Wall-mounted ultrasonic flowmeter
Diameters range from 15 to 1000DN. For short-term temperatures, 150 to 160°C is acceptable, while for longer-term temperatures, 120 to 130°C is acceptable.
High-temperature type
For sewage, impurities should not exceed 5%. For seawater, regular pipe cleaning is recommended.
The output is 10-20mA, and it supports pulses with a 485 relay.
304 stainless steel is acceptable, but 316 and copper are not.
It is compatible with small, medium, and large sensors.
