turbine flowmeter working principle
sales01@cxflowmeter.com
When the measured fluid flows through the
turbine flow meter flow sensor, under the action of the fluid, the impeller is forced to rotate, and its rotational speed is proportional to the average flow
velocity of the pipeline. According to the principle of electromagnetic induction, a pulsating potential signal, that is, an electric pulse signal, will be induced in the coil. The frequency of this
electric pulsation signal is proportional to the flow rate of the fluid to be measured.
Turbine flowmeters are widely used in the following measurement objects: petroleum, organic liquids, inorganic liquids, liquefied gas, natural gas, coal gas and cryogenic fluids. It is widely
used in foreign transshipment and gathering stations for liquefied petroleum gas, refined oil and light crude oil, as well as the first and last stations of large crude oil pipelines for trade
settlement. Turbine flowmeters are second only to orifice flowmeters in natural gas measuring instruments in Europe and the United States. In the Netherlands alone, more than 2,600
gas turbine flow meters of various sizes and pressures from 0.8MPa to 6.5MPa have been used in natural gas pipelines. Has become an excellent natural gas flowmeter. Although the
excellent measurement characteristics of the turbine flowmeter are favored by people, it gives the impression that it is composed of moving parts and has a short service life. Turbine flowmeter
is the most common flowmeter, and its products have been developed into a multi-variety, full-series, multi-specification mass production scale.
